See details below for most recent theft in our community. There was also an incident in our neighboring Block Watch last night where culprits were prowling around a residence in the early morning hours at approximately 2AM. This is very disturbing that these individual(s) are not just checking our vehicles, but are now coming onto our properties. Also a reminder to everyone to ensure your doors are locked and garages closed before retiring for evening. Also if you have an alarm to set them when you are away from home as well as when you go to bed.

Despite numerous alerts, today I walked past a vehicle parked on 161 and noticed the window partially down and valuables in plain site to attract thieves. Don’t be a victim! Please ensure you take a few extra moments each night to check your doors and vehicles. As usual if you observe anything suspicious, call the police 911 emergency, or to report a crime not in progress, the non-emergency number (604-599-0502).

Thanks to all of you for your ongoing support of Block Watch!
