On the early morning hours of August 27th, thieves entered an open garage and store a vehicle belonging to a resident on the 3109 side of complex. The police were alerted and the car has since been recovered. Residents are reminded to check your garage door before going to bed as it is very easy to forget and go to bed with the garage door open and potentially leaving your house open to intruders.
Thieves are opportunist and are continually sourcing complexes such as Wills Creek looking for insecure vehicles and houses to steal from. Also as Block Watch participants, please look out for you neighbour and if necessary remind them. It is better to be woken up to close your garage than wake up to your car gone or house rifled through and belongings missing. As always if you see anything suspicious call the police.
