Over the last two nights, there have been at least two reports of cars being broken into within the complex. This could be the start of another rash of vehicle thefts in our area which is a good reminder to residents to ensure that not only your vehicle is locked at night but there is nothing visible that may attract thieves no matter how insignificant it may seem to you. People with addictions will steal anything they feel can be easily converted to cash.

We were doing well for the longest time however, it appears to be a new group working this area, or prolific offender(s) are back on the streets.

If you are victim of theft, please report it immediately through the RCMP Non-Emergency: 604-599-0502 , or Report a Crime Online.

You should also contact Tom Jones, Wills Creek Block Watch Coordinator at email: wcblockwatch2020@gmail.com. So he can track events and coordinate with the local RCMP District 5 BW Coordinator. Please be aware you must report any crime to the police yourself.

Also a number of people now have security cameras installed so you are encouraged to check for any suspicious events.
