On Jun 19, 2016, at 18:30 this evening, A resident was driving north in the lane between 160 and 160 A St and noticed a suspicious looking male walking slowly by garage doors and using something in his hand that seemed like a garage or car door remote. He seemed to be pressing the remote and listening or waiting for a door to open. They have never seen this guy in the area before and he seemed somewhat confused as he was changing directions and seemingly wandering aimlessly. He sat for a while on the timbers by the walkway to 160. Resident didn’t approach him, but called RCMP. Subject took off through the paths. Police attended and made patrols but unable to find subject. Another good reminder to be vigilant about car and garage doors being closed and locked.
