The Social Committee of Wills Creek would like to say a special thanks to all the owners and residents of our complex for your tremendous show of support for the annual Christmas Fund Raiser.
With the annual Christmas get together cancel this year due to Covid-19, the Social Committee chose instead to try a Wine Draw, and a raffle of two beautiful wreaths each containing $250.00 dollars in gift cards.
This year’s fundraiser was an overwhelming success with the Social Committee raising just over $3,000.00 dollars. This money raised will allow them to provide a Christmas for four families that were sponsored through the Surrey Christmas Bureau “Adopt-a-Family”.
On Friday Dec. 4th, the Social Committee held the draw, with the Strata President, Roger Morin selecting the winning tickets.
The Social Committee is pleased to announce that Lisa (3109 side) was the big winner of over 40 bottles of wine, and the winners of the wreaths were Evelyn (3109 side) and Bill and Albina (3022 side)
A big thanks to the Social Committee (Colleen Jones, Jo Tonita, Cathi Smith, Kelly McElroy, Pauline Vallee, and Dale Newbold) for all their hard work. A special thanks to Cathi Smith for putting the beautiful wreaths together and Kelly McElroy and Pauline Vallee for the additional wine selections and presentation.
