Folks, it’s that time of year (Tax Season) when scam artists are most active. As always protect your personal information and never give out information on the phone or via the internet no matter how convincing someone sounds unless you are certain they are legitimate. Even if you think they may be legitimate, always obtain a phone number and conduct a search to determine if the number is from an accredited institution or listed on their web or directory.
